About the Instructor

Rene Denfeld the author of three novels, and the forthcoming Sleeping Giants (Harper 2024). Her literary thrillers have won numerous prestigious awards, including a French Prix, an ALA Medal for Excellence in fiction listing, a Flaherty Dunnan listing, and an IMPAC listing. Margaret Atwood has termed her novels "astonishing." By day Rene works as a licensed death row investigator, and is the past Chief Investigator for a public defense office.
